( 4-16-08 Update: It has finally been taken down! Justice has finally been served! )
There are moments where the day goes well, and not so well. Then there are moments where things get confusing. Though, right now, it's none of the above. Right now, it's a moment of justice. Justice must be served on a current stolen movie posted here on Newgrounds. Now, I know I am neutral on anything going on anywhere, but there is a line to be drawn. Even on neutral.
The topic I am talking about, is the topic of this movie right here. NG Goblin. watch and see for yourself. This movie is completely stolen. Stolen from campchaos.com. The two who posted this are saying they did so for us all to see on Newgrounds. That's fine and all, but they do not realize the situation here at all. That plus we can just go to campchaos.com and watch it there ourselves. Once you post something that is not yours, you stole it and it becomes illegal in copyright laws.
Also, what's makes it worse for them is that they did not source it at all. They also posted it as "For all Audiences", when in fact it is "not suitable for all audiences". So, I reviewed it as stolen. They responded back stating "that it is not the original but I am posting it on Newgrounds". When, in fact, it is the origional from campchaos.com and just copied it onto Newgrounds with no source and a false audience rating.
If you want to post something that is not yours, you need permission and any sources of origin and any other agreements that have been made from the original author. They failed to do any of this. Therefore, the movie should be deleted or they will face campchaos.com once they find out.
If you plan to post something like that here on Newgrounds, please just do so legally. Otherwise face the consequences when they arise. I posted my 2 cents with my review and this post. I will leave this issue to rest now on move on. Though if you wish to say something about this, please feel free too.
